International Transport Workers Federation Expresses Solidarity With ILA Philadelphia Longshoremen |

The International Transport Workers Federation Dockers Section, bringing together participants from 23 countries from around the world to Long Beach, California on October 13th used the occasion of the Third Global Network Terminal (GNT) meetings here to note:
- With concern to the situation of the Longshoremen in the Port of Philadelphia.
- That a trade union had negotiated in good faith and was prepared to reach a mutually negotiated agreement.
- That the company had not followed the best practices of negotiation and allegedly negotiated in bad faith.
The ITF expresses solidarity with the workers of the Port of Philadelphia and will support them within the legal restrictions of each country involved. The ITF secretariat will be guided by the elected leadership of the ILA.
